Our team of four lawyers, supported by knowledge professionals, advises both Belgian and international clients, including leading banks, investment firms, asset managers, insurers, payment institutions, crypto exchanges, and innovative fintech players. Our FinReg team is currently looking for a Dutch-speaking junior lawyer!
Your role
As a FinReg team member, you will collaborate with your team members to provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients operating in the field of financial services, for example areas such as banking and funds regulation, payment services, crypto, ESG, and other relevant financial services regulations. But also:
- Explore with the team evolving laws, industry trends and disruptive technologies
- Contribute your legal insights and expertise to the development of sustainability with our clients, promoting responsible growth within the financial services industry
- Engage in the fascinating world of RegTech, working with innovative tools and solutions helping our clients to navigate complex regulatory frameworks
- Actively engage in discussions with the regulatory authorities and participate in regulatory investigations and proceedings

What we expect
- You have a native level of Dutch with an excellent knowledge of English and passive knowledge of French
- You are either a starter, or someone who already brings some initial experience in the field
- First-class Belgian law degree
