The Banking and Finance team
Our Banking and Finance team supports corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, real estate developers, financial institutions, funds, and alternative lenders with diverse financing needs. From acquisition and real estate finance to project and general corporate lending, our expert team offers pragmatic advice to secure successful deals in Belgium and globally.
Our Corporate and Finance department is one of the largest in Belgium. By seamlessly combining their expertise and knowledge, our attorneys are able to quickly address our clients’ needs in corporate and finance matters, whether these arise in Belgium or abroad. For cross-border transactions, they work on a daily basis with top-tier foreign law firms.
We are currently recruiting a French speaking law graduate with a passion for Banking and Finance law.

As a lawyer in our team, you will be involved in a broad range of Banking and Finance transaction matters for a varied client base. Your tasks will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating deal documentation, engaging with our clients and their counterparts, and managing matters from inception to closing:

What we expect
Our new colleague:
- Has an outstanding level of French and English with a good knowledge of Dutch.
- Has a first-class Belgian law degree – additional education abroad and/or an LLM or other advanced master in Banking and Finance law is a plus.
- Graduating in 2026 and eager to start the bar internship at Liedekerke.
- Has excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Embraces a hands-on approach, is proactive, and willing to take initiative.
- Is client-focused with a practical and commercial mindset.
- Is a team player who can also work independently.

- Location: Brussels, with the option to also work from our Antwerp office.
